What is "JJ Student of The Week?"

​JJ Student of the Week is a fun, easy way for your school to award and honor a stand out student each week! Our goal with this program is to inspire and motivate kids to be their very best, and recognize their success, hard work and achievements.

What does my school need to do?

Designate one employee at each school to be in charge of the student of the week packet filled with everything you will need. 

Step 1: Each week, choose a deserving student and award them with a Student of the Week certificate and sub card that we have included. You can award them this for just about anything you want! Have fun with it!

Step 2: Update the student’s name on the marquee board out in front of the school. Check out some of the video examples! Students love watching their name go across each week. Make sure that it is visible for at least 15 seconds. Contact Matt Morton ([email protected]) if you have any questions or need any help with this step.

Step 3: Take a picture of the awarded student with their certificate. Share it on the schools Facebook page! Parents and students love the recognition. Look at some of the examples of past posts to get an idea. 

Step 4: Fill out the students name on your tracking sheet inside your packet so you know who’s already been awarded this year and be on the lookout for next weeks Jimmy John's Student of the week!

These are the certificates that are awarded to every student of the week winner. They are made of card stock and are awarded with a sub card each week at each school! Students are to use the free sub card to redeem their prize and keep the certificate for themselves. 

If your school chooses to participate, we will deliver you a Student of The Week Packet! This has the certificates, sub cards, a tracking sheet and instructions. Everything you need to successfully run student of the week at your campus year round.
